Since I seem to be in the mood for speculation involving incidents occurring in France… trying to back up a little and try my hand at some sense-making. In the Pimander, occurs another, one might even say an “Hermetic” creation account, in which the man (Adam) follows the pattern … creation, fall, redemption … but there does appear to be a diff…[Read more]

    • I was just talking to Blake about a reference in the Pimander to Magus Man…. SYNC!! I’d love to hear Dr. Farrell’s thoughts on your speculations, they are certainly fascinating. Coincidence… I think not!

      • “In the Hermetic account, in Pimander, of the creation of Magus Man, this half-divine being came down below because he loved beautiful nature and was united to her in a passionate embrace.” – The University of Chicago Press, c1964. Paperback edition, 1991. Frances Yates, Giordano Bruno and the Hermetic Tradition. Page, 126.

    • France is crawling with secret societies and alleged esoteric orders. But even after discarding the more unabashed money-making groups, it could probably be said that all or mostof the “brotherhoods” you can trace (there exist a number with titles like “guidebook to secret societies”) are actually “mesoteric”, a neologism meaning semi- or half-esoteric.

    • Here’s an interesting story about Ficino’s Pimander and it’s publishing history.http://wouterjhanegraaff.blogspot.com/2013/11/butchering-corpus-hermeticum-breaking.html?m=1

Could these “errors” have been done on purpose to steer off the plebs. Sorry if it’s old news, I’m new here.

      • Thanks for the heads up! Not old news to me. Always post up. I’ll guarantee you that some of the 4000 or so souls in this community will not have seen the info. And as for me … it never hurts me to see something more than once.

Good Evening All. I realize it has been a few months since the fire at Notre Dame. As a result of some recent reading I began to wonder … In the 13th Century there occurred what has been called “The Heresy of The Brethren of the Free Spirit.” Writings and persons thought to be connected to this heresy were burned. During Easter High Mass in…[Read more]

Hmmmmm. On more than one occasion I have had posts “disappeared”. I posted this roughly 3 hours ago. Only the first line or two appears on on my site activity. When I click on [view] those lines disappear. When I go to Community it is not there. Hmmmmm. The next thing you know we’ll be receiving emails telling us to “stop communication…[Read more]

I must say, in all honesty, that I have never, ever, in my life seen a better idea, This idea absolutely dwarfs (apologies … little peoples) sliced bread, spray-on butter, and anything ever “as seen on t.v..”

    • LOL .. My sentiments EXACTLY .. The way those algorithms are currently operating .. one would only have to utter the word “conspiracy” and that would usher in the total obliteration of the late great planet Earth .. Sighhh !!

    • This also ties out to some recent speculation from the Amazing Polly regarding the scenario’s possible by which Yew-toob purged all content involving amateur row-botz being pitted against one another in those cheesy “made for cable” battle-botz contests. Her scenarios were:
#1. Some allegedly human being actually decided this kind of violin-enz…[Read more]

      • Great comment Blake .. I think AY – EYE left the reservation some time ago and has been running amok ever since .. Some “THING” even the Center for DisEASE Creation won’t be able to reign in .. “They” KNOW it and there’s NOthing “they” can do about it ..

        • That scenario also explains the odd behavior in the financial markets. It also reminds me of that classic episode of the X-Files – “Kill Switch”. My favorite episode ever.! If you haven’t seen it, check it out! What a world right!? it seems as if the “horse has already left the barn”. Oh that’s just great.

        • Its also hilarious that we’re spelling things the way we are, I feel like one of the crew in Kubrick’s 2001 hoping that HAL won’t hear us!

… I would say to not even waste time (and it is a waste) with observing. Recall Dr. Farrell’s thoughts in Microcosm about controlling the perceptions of the observer … I think one of the assists to weaponizing one’s mind is to engage in what I like to call “metaphysical shunning.”

    • Please elaborate about “metaphysical shunning.” It sounds important and useful.
As to observing, I don’t know whether you and I are at cross purposes but, by “observing,” what I meant was collecting enough information to know the enemy. That seems basic and essential to me.
