That’s one theory… another is that they seldom used heels (given some of the pedal boards were short), but as far as I recall, most of the pedals boards on the organs (and pedal harpsichords) that JS, WF, and CPE Bach actually played were long like the modern ones. Folks thanks to Daniel’s hard work the site is back up. I’m a day behind, so I am hoping to do News and Views much later today, begin next week’s blog scheduling tomorrow and have it done Saturday, and then get back to finish chapter 7 on Saturday and Sunday.

Joseph, since Shiloh is a very vocal puppy, I wonder what she is going to say when she hears it for the first time. I can just see her singing along with some Bach.

I listened to these interview when they came out. Mr. Lindsay is an Australian but in my opinion he knows JACK S**T. Sure he knows all the buzz words but that’s about it. He didn’t teach me anything that’s for sure.

That’s true, and in any case Forum remains an interesting resource. I think some familiarity with Theosophical concepts (preferably from READING and not just video snippets) is essential to interpret today’s cultural currents.

I heard from a source that’s usually right, Apple accepted Chinese deal; no taxes in exchange for 51% ownership by Chinese state. I haven’t been able to track to confirm. Has anybody heard this? Is anybody tracking which US companies take the Deal?
