The amazing “CERN Tarot”. Why did they sponsor this? Discussed in Dark Journalist X-Series episode XXVII from about minute 50.

As far as I remember, because I have been waiting for two books like that he has mentioned over the years, it is either a book about Dionysius the Areopagite and it’s real influence on Christianity that one of his friends was to write OR the book about St. Paul that Dr. DeHart was to write about and who he thinks St. Paul really was and it’s…[Read more]

Winston!
I made a post which I then deleted due to my youth and paranoia. But, surely it was you who asked a question in a recent vidchat about the book “The Physics of Angels” by Rupert Sheldrake! Which of course, focuses pretty heavily on Dionysius the Areopagite’s works if I’m not mistaken.
Also, I’m now in queue as well.-
Also, I bet they’ve been written but are on some latent “Publish if I’m assassinated” playlist.

Folks I want to thank everyone who has bought the new book. It just cleared that “magical threshold” I had in my head for this experiment, so I will like do all books in a self-published format in the future.

Hello Fellow Gizas, how are you all doing? <3
I'm looking for a good book about Zoroastrian, I mean their history, tradition, myth, culture, major event etc type, any recommendation?
Cheers!!!
-
say hello to Jesus π
-
start with these π
https://archive.org/details/TheTeachingsOfZoroasterByS.A.Kapadia1913
this one is good as it lists a lot of great works in the first pages.. (Im looking for them too :)) https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.22660
Sorry Eve I can only search for them in english or french…xx-
hahahah Thank you Kahlypso, I’m not sure if Jesus could help me find out if there are any connection between Zoroastrian’s war and the War between Devas and Asura in India epic. I know too little about Zoroastrian’s myth, but I suspect some kind of connection.

π Ahhh when you start comparative studies of religion… you start to see…. that they’re all just copying each other…. with some cults having more fervent ergo correct fanatics than others…

I suspect their relation more than just copy each other, my suspicious that they may actually had physical high tech war with each other, I could be wrong, but I just can’t get over with the word Asura and Astria, if we remove Zoro from Zoroastrian, and drop N, we have Astria, I just can’t ignore the possibilities it was actually the Zoro had war…[Read more]

And then there is Ahura Mazda, can this be just merely a coincident?

OMG I found another line: Quote: During the Achaemenid Empire (c. 550 β 330 BCE) the prophet, Zoroaster/Zarathustra is not mentioned in the inscriptions of the Achaemenid kings while Ahura Mazda is mentioned in opposition with the daeva. There are no solid links between the teachings of Zoroaster and the Achaemenid kings besides the emphasis on m…[Read more]

Quote: Daeva, the Iranian language term, should not be confused with the devas of Indian religions. While the word for the Vedic spirits and the word for the Zoroastrian entities are etymologically related, their function and thematic development is altogether different. The once-widespread notion that the radically different functions of Iranian…[Read more]

I have to admit.. my Hinduism is pretty weak.. I need to learn Sanskrit.. From the top of my head.. If I remember correctly.. In the Avesta’s book of Yashts, verse 13.87 of the Farvardin Yasht as well as the Middle Persian Denkard at 3.35 mention that Mazda, God, was worshipped by the Aryans from the time of the first Aryan king Gaya Maretan
The opening paragraphs of the Avesta’s Farvardin Yasht and the Yasht’s verse 13.150 also tell us that Gaya Maretan and the other…[Read more] -

Now all I need is the in dept study of the relationship between Ahura Mazda and the Daeva; as well as Varuna and Deva.

Well, the BBC reported erroneously that the ‘oldest’ human skeleton found in the Americas was an exhibit. There is evidence of a much older human presence in South America, but I suspect that a DNA anyalysis of these remains may have shown affinities with Australian aboriginal haplogroups (see: https://youtu.be/r6IrMjfbh6E). That’s just one very…[Read more]

For those reading the new book, I wanted to point out this video of Darren Brown, which is a master at these techniques, and referenced to pgs. 133-4, where he almost instantaneously converts a woman that’s not only a scientist but an atheist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLzT4CeBT6I
-
Yes this Brown has a strange “knack” and has made money from it too…
-
True enough, I was just pointing out the techniques…disturbing.
-
Very disturbing. Assuming that this episode (and others like it) does not involve any cheating by previous agreement with the interviewee, there have been a lot of well-known psychological techniques out there for a long time. Looking at the other aspects of Brown’s work, it seems likely that he does not have a simply materialistic and mechanistic…[Read more]

Scarlatti was definitely a wild thinker. I think one of the most enjoyable performances I heard of him was Bob James performing some of his sonatas on a synthesizer. Wonderful stuff. Check it out: Fuga del Gatto, and then the final Allegrissimo:
