Thanks everyone. The irony of the “royal” death, icon of the British Empire, who tried to bring modern western ways to Egypt, the cradle of civilization stands out. Their significance is much greater in the history of the planet than the British endeavors and atrocities.

Admittedly having no clear basis upon which to speculate, what secret( weapons) drove the nuclear powers THAT far in, or caused them to shell that apoplectically?-
I don’t know what drove them to do it. I know there are several woo-woo reports about aliens and/or inter-dimensionals being involved in the Vietnam War. Whether that’s true, nonsense or cover/distraction/misdirection for something else I have no idea.
