A favorite book from over 50 years ago: How To Lie With Statistics. Seems to be working well in this modern age. — P.S. How to classify this post? Need a category named. Other.

Cartoon by ( the name will come to me after I post this – fellow known for his cow tools): Line drawing of bedraggled, exhausted prisoners chained to their oars, momentarily slumped with heads down, overseen by guard with whip, except one prisoner with raised head and bright eyes and finger raised high – saying, “Oh YooHoo! I think I have a…[Read more] -

A long time peeve for me. First they come for the language. More recent irritant is the absence of dates on articles. (handy for recycling gibberish as current “breaking news) -

Going to stage…? Been staging for decades in the USSA. One marker being the rescinding of antitrust laws associated with news media during the Reagan administration – continuing to present times where codes and alternative words are used to delay the inevitability of take-downs on various sites. Jeeze, in some places this extends to no l…[Read more] -

Re: Your – “ Feckless… what is a feckle after all?” ——- my “long ponder” has been: Precisely when does a freckle become a liver spot (AKA”old age spot”)? -

Sincere question/thought. 2. Why did he go to the hospital in the first place? Was he forced against his will? Better to go in your home if it comes to that. IMHO an ex Clowns In Amerikka would/should know what hospitals are all about these days. 2. More significant Q: How did so many of educated “best and brightest” turn to the dark sid…[Read more]-
CAF has discussed this mass mind control on many occasions. Certainly the Smartphone/WiFi has quite a lot of influence through frequency. When I heard the discussion that Jay Weidner had with Eric Hecker who exposed the immense array from 10,000 feet, nearly astral, in Antarctica, I began to wonder if maybe this explained the global mind…

FECKLE, n. Mettle, pith.
Lnk. 1893 J. Crawford Sc. Verses 75:
Then, men had feckle, bane and grit, An’ tried oor win’ by speed o’ fit.[Phs. a corruption of Eng. fettle, with influence from Feck, n.1, v.1]
Try an Advanced SearchScottish – equivalent to “true grit.”

It may only be a pressure release “feel good” moment. If so, of some benefit. Just a thought. Thanks for your input. -

An.appropriate nome de plume would have been Russel. (Sorry about that. Leakage from silly boyhood days re: bad jokes.) -

Perhaps a paper trail for a further objective. Proverb: Perseverance furthers. Additionally : Shame / educate the responder.-
Paper trail for a future objective makes sense. Though I don’t believe any amount of lawsuits, shaming, or education is going to result in any incriminating docs being released — assuming they haven’t long since been shredded.

… my (sad) thought as well FiatLux ,,, I think those documents “disappeared” (i.e. suffered the same fate as the Roswell dailies, MK Ultra records, the few microfiche containing crucial JFK evidence that were destroyed as a”space saving measure”) long, long ago.

My thought: Often, what is lacking in talent can effectively be compensated for with volume.Kind of like styrofoam. An appearance of substance, without any.
Like most of officialdom. All the i’s are dotted, the t’s crossed, proper headings, stamps, scrolls, references, citations, seals, but sans substance – I.e., crickets. Nada. But in…[Read more]

Interesting man. Important thinking and expression. Somewhere, decades ago, read that upon his demise, his brother burned much of the remaining personal papers, except what the gardener could salvage from the fire. Would like to learn more. -

Neither have I. Not even seasonal sniffles, now we’ll into the second year of this play entitled Truth Or Consequences. However I do not doubt that there are those who have had the misfortune of being in the wrong place /time #g-wise in relation to various tests as well as malfeasance similar to providing blankets to shivering ones in need -…[Read more] -

I may only have a Katana Samurai sword, and integrity. But so be it, if it comes to that. Perhaps a hard lesson on the road. Who knows, perhaps a Divine wind, or something.Never a dull moment, at least lately. (Back to the Daily Grind, sayeth the coffee purveyor.) -

Hear, hear. Agree. E.g., the so-called legal assertion that corporations are persons is beyond sanity. Just say no (to stupid). I find a measure of relief in just ignoring same – with as much humor and compassion as can be conjured, but otherwise following one’s own course of experience and associated intelligence as a matter of routine. -

Seems to me, also, that paying close attention to diet (including purification and a blessing attitude towards water) and yourself as a matter of routine should be a matter of routine. If delusional: harmless. If non-delusional: priceless. In any event, May you prevail and joy de viv be a companion. (Joi?) -

Upon reflection: The gist is there, but the logic is a bit askew. Substitute “the voice of reason” with “said a voice,” for one thing. Extemporaneous humorous poetic endeavors are tricky for me. The more reflective criticism, the stickier the wicket. Point: Wisdom too wise to vocalize. - Load More
The far side maybe?
