Most bacteria also contain biomagnetite, which I suspect is related to these findings. It’s significant that the article mentions the phenomenon only as a possible source of bio-batteries and ignores completely its implications for any possible research into the connections between electro-magnetism and living organisms.

I’m not surprised the scientists in the article are perplexed. As one of them says, it’s, “a pattern produced by the brain.” This assumes, as does all reductionist ‘scientific’ thinking, that the brain creates consciousness . There is no new science, but you have to wonder where their base 12 number system came from (12 fingers) Remember. Anything in ancient texts attributed to God Powers, can easily be recreated today.
