    the picture is obviously meant to signify an octopus arising from the Deep, or a Tantric mushroom goddess 🙂 but, you’re right (as always), I don’t know why I come to work when I can just as easily faff around at home in comfort with the addition of wine…

      However.. Does anyone here have any information about the TRIBUNE in the UFFIZI musuem?
      My wife broke down in tears of sadness and couldnt be near it, before she even saw it. We had to go out into the Galleries and move along..

    perhaps CERN is vibrating or might be intended to vibrate some of the frozen volatiles (Kuiper objects) out there, like the frozen methane on Pluto ?

      I was being more prosaic and down to earth…. and was thinking of the analogy of concert halls, churches, etc. where the shape of the space in which the resonating body is “played” results in different qualities and amplification of sound in the contained space.
