Perhaps some sites are “blacklisted” as “inappropriate content”. Fairly easy to do…. there are already security watch lists of known hacking emails addresses / sites etc. frequently consulted by those working in IT security.

I think Daniel (webmaster) said that the website uses an algorithm which sometimes picks up certain combinations of words that can lead to a post not being accepted. Not necessarily any rhyme or reason,

This is the third time I am attempting to share this. Both previous times, the post has simply disappeared. This time I have used a URL shortener.
This article is by the Saker on recent / current Russian counter propaganda. Interesting reading if only to study the propaganda techniques.

@Camille, here is one system “rule” for sure…. the moderation software does not like any words with t i t in them, even if the placement of these letters is inside a word, such as Inst i tution. Sigh.

I like Ralf Ellis but I have one of his books and he does a lot of “etymology” based historical analysis and I am not sure what he draws as conclusions from this is necessarily valid. Admittedly, I don’t know too much about the technicalities of etymology but I do know that sometimes words looking similar and sounding similar is not enough to pr…[Read more]

I’m not sure why but I don’t think this story is unrelated to the N.Korea drama…. there have also been the woes suffered by Toshiba, another Japanese “inst i tution”. In my view, someone is trying to “unsettle” Japan

Oh my! One of the many, many problems in biological research:
http://www.sciencealert.com/more-than-30-000-scientific-studies-could-be-wrong-due-to-contaminated-undying-cells-
Having worked with cell lines as a lab tech, I can believe just how easy it is for this to be true. Even with sterile technique practices in place, contamination happens and human error happens. So much of what I did back then seemed little more than magic and faith. I mixed components in various ways and ran tests. I knew what was supposed to…[Read more]
