I have uneasy, disquieting feelings about these projects of Tom de Long. There have been a few little things that are just a bit “off”. To me it has the sense of orchestrated “underground”… an op.

This is not to say that there are other issues such as drug and other trafficking associated with a maritime hub like Barcelona. And maybe the effects of the present cosmic cycle, outside the control of the oligarchs, such as popular resentment against the powerful in general.

This is a nice, clear infographic on the various economic bubbles in play…. of course it does not include Catherine Austin Fitts’ missing money, the drug economy or Truman’s off-black-budget-Japanese-gold-seeded economy but it’s still useful to see it all laid out.

Maybe in a market traded by high frequency trade algorithms the analysts should be AIs? Also, this article made me think about the importance of hope and optimism in human endeavor.
