So here’s a “consulting” firm that appears to be advising the USA’s Democratic Party on how to talk about “Russiagate” … and here are their suggestions on talking points. Looks like another Bell Potinger type organisation:

This story is all over the news. In some articles it says the attack could “go on for days”. How convenient…. days when some users are locked out of their accounts for someone to do mischief.
Also, some articles say that the attack started as the Scottish parliament was debating Scottish independence. Once again, how convenient (either to draw…[Read more] -

This is a clever exposé of propaganda (released 2012). Made by a New Zealander, it uses the device of pretending to be a North Korean anti-west film.

Darth Soros is working his “money magic” again: https://www.rt.com/business/399645-soros-stock-market-bet-trump/

I am intellectually incapable of understanding how it works.. How can you make money by losing value…
And.. Its not ‘right’ that one person can force a nation to withdraw its currency from the international exchange market because he has more money than that nation.. like England for example.. -
The stock market bubble will burst sooner or later

Since when has Saudi Arabia ever followed diplomatic means of resolving differences? Adam Garrie’s analysis of the strategy is that Saudi Arabia seeks to bring an increasingly pro-Iran Iraq back to the Team-Saudi fold.

Good grief. Domestic propaganda is the new weapon in the Team-Saudi vs Qatar spat. I wonder if it’s working?

Stephen Hicks points out both where Nietzsche’s philosophy does and does NOT correspond to Nazi ideology. He points out several instances where the two are not at all in sync and includes Nietzche’s own criticisms of German culture. My conclusion in having listened to the whole thing is that Hicks is definitely anti Nazi and does not attribute…[Read more]

Today I listened to the audio version of “Nietzsche and the Nazis” read by its author, Stephen Hicks. It’s a philosophical exposition but not full of difficult language. I found it thought provoking and learnt quite a bit. Find it here:
-
I read through the comments on Stephen Hick’s book Nietzsche and the Nazi’s , Dr. JPF would give it a thumb’s down IMHO. It’s thesis obscures much of the nature of Nazi party , correlating that possibly Nietzsche inspired err had profound influence in uncle Adolph’s reasoning and actions. But that’s just from reading the comments.

I absolutely agree. My example is much simpler (If Im off base let me know). Think of a person in the hospital w/ a heart problem. Say the patients heart beats too fast or too slow. I would like to place a kind of acoustic device on the chest that has a beat that is “normal” (80BPS?), the idea would be to use the idea of entrainment to try to get…[Read more]

Similar, this is a cymatic useage for moving ferrofluid. The chest attachable speaker would have to very (looking for the right word) quiet, almost or totally imperceptible to the patient. My reason for keeping it “quiet” from the patient is that it needs to be totally internalized and not have smearing by the patients mind. (However, the mind may…[Read more]

Russia to the “rescue” in the Middle East? First it was Syria, now perhaps Iraq? And there are those noises Russia has been making about Afghanistan. I had not seen this before, thanks for posting. Stark and depressing but I think necessary to watch. What struck me about this was how free of rhetoric and grandstanding this was. It was refreshing to see such a challenging and “toxic” topic discussed in such a sane manner.

It’s very interesting how language is learnt. My husband is Italian but learnt English as a young child so has no accent at all, just that of a native speaker of South African English. I learnt French in high school for five years (along with Afrikaans – 12 years – and Zulu – 3 years), whenever I come across a foreign Latin-based language my…[Read more]

Thanks Kenny. That is quite a different brand of Spanish, I only understood a few words of it! . . . . Languages are so interesting. I guess they are repeating the patterns of speech, hence an accent. We are fast speakers, sometimes I have to tone it down, depending on the circumstances. The other thing, fascinating to me, is the future of English in Puerto Rico and how the language is going to develop. There is a phenomena that is unique in PR, there are more Puerto Ricans…[Read more]
