This is indeed a puzzlement. Hobby Lobby won a lawsuit based on their religious beliefs. The government had to know about the artifacts while the suit progressed. Is the current situation “pay backs” for winning including the 3 million dollar fine?

There is probably a lot of suppressed science involving what is classified as mesmerism, which had its heyday in the 18th century followed by a decline.
