Part of the deal… many of the so-called Taliban (or TELEban given recent media coverage) orginate from or were trained in neighbouring Pak which, just by chance, has had close links with the tottering empire. Apart from “dictatorship building”, just about the only thing the empire has “given” is weapons training… -

If/when there is an announcement that the Saudis agree to accept roubles – or any other currency – for their oil, then we will know that The Sword of Damocles hanging over the dollar has struck. There were constant rumors about this 4-5 years ago. Perhaps they will now re-surface?
