These extra sactions was very stupid move. Im sure EU don´t follow USA on this. Chancellor Hitl…. oh sorry, Merkel, is ready to start a trade war against USA if necessary.-
I don’t know what EU will do, they seem to have meekly bowed to US dictates many times in the past… Thierry Meyssan at Voltaire.net seems to see this as a very significant development… see here: http://www.voltairenet.org/article197288.html

Does the US really believe that Putin will change his ways because of sanctions, I think not.

Wow, extremely hot for Europe, even Southern Europe. And unlike Middle East, air con is not available for most people. I hope the elderly will be okay.

Alarming! Facebook AIs invent their own incomprehensible (at least to humans) language. Facebook “experts” are more concerned with analyzing whether this was a real language than the far more worrying aspects of this: that is, the “mere” fact that the AIs created a language. Isn’t the creation of and communication in a language supposed to be a…[Read more]

And here is another “intractable” people who do not like to be dominated by outsiders: the Pashtuns.

This is a fairly clear (clearest I’ve seen anyway) outline of the actions and factional interplay leading to and through the war in Yemen: https://southfront.org/ansar-allah-movement-houthis/
One of the comments by “Kata Kalan” to the article provides some additional context:
“As a Ithna Asheri (Twelver) Shia I’d like to say this: the Zaydis are…[Read more] -

Turn and turn about: no more pay from CIA? Okay, let’s fight for Assad. What a sad world we live in.
“The ending of the Central Intelligence Agency’s covert bankrolling of Syrian insurgent groups has produced a truly bizarre development – a number of rebels have defected to President Bashar al-Assad’s forces, in a clear demonstration of just how f…[Read more] -

I find this oddly comforting somehow… but I’ve watched a few of these things and I’m wondering why the Union Pacific is operating so many steam engines…. TODAY…. it can’t be just a publicity stunt. One would think these things are very expensive to operate and maintain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNltLIY5Ip8

Good grief… they’re actually using these things to pull revenue trains??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhgHrDbN4EU

Yes, something nostalgically appealing about that era. I’m fascinated by these magnificent steam engines. My grandfather worked for MKT and all the men in my family were steam train buffs. There’s a lot of interest in restoring them now. One of the ‘Big Boys’ on tour made a stop in Austin a few years ago, amazing to see! This comment on the par…[Read more]

Maybe they see steam as a backup solution. So where does that leave the Muskian “hypertrains”?

An interesting comment and speculation from a reader of Moon of Alabama regarding the longer term plan (if there is one) of the US/Western players in the Middle East:
“What I find is totally missing from the analysis of the recent history of the Middle East is one possible covert reason the West ventured into Iraq.In the laundry list of reasons…[Read more]

How interesting…. either they have been working overtime to produce this documentary or this “revelation” (my read: deflection) on 911 was already in the plan. Makes the whole Saudi alliance/Qatar spat look even more orchestrated.
From Gulfnews:
“The documentary will be shown at 20.00 GMT (12am UAE time), and will address the reported…[Read more] -

So the IMF messaging on shift to China becomes more overt:
“Head of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde says the organization may move its headquarters from Washington DC to Beijing in a decade if the growth trend in China and other major emerging markets continues….
“Which might very well mean, that if we have this conversation i…[Read more]-
This can be interpreted not as any real innovation but as confirmation that the globalist banking clans have had their hands on “communist” China for decades. Much has been made of China’s leverage due to holding of US debt: but they will never use this leverage at the risk of crashing the dollar and get left with worthless paper. On the other…[Read more]

You can’t manage it using a closed system; you need a multidimensional cache. This might mean that sufficiently vast amounts of data in the cache could become self-organizing (autonomous) and thereafter possibly sentient. I think the Gnostics understood this when they wrote about the Aeons. To build such a multidimensional cache might require…[Read more]
