This whole inauguration hullaballoo smacks of psyop or setup. Either somebody’s aware of a planned “event” that day, or somebody wants us to fear there might be one. I’m trying to think good thoughts to help ward off anything untoward happening that day (it would surely be used as an excuse to turbocharge that Patriot Act 2.0 that’s been…[Read more] -

I’ve watched the vax marketing campaign and rollout, and noted reports of injury and death during and after vax trials, to the point I’m now blue in the face. As if there were some magic at work, I have not yet seen so much as one report that a post-vaccine death or injury is connected to the vaccine… If I never see one, I won’t be surpris…[Read more] -

Sharing favorite workarounds to the system (reposted with link removed–thanks to Margaret W. for cluing me in!): Going through the 2020 vidchats for the first time, I came upon an excellent contribution by Technomage in the African-European Time Zone Vidchat, July 24, 2020, 2:13:08-2:20:56. It has to do with Technomage’s grandparents, who m…[Read more]

Wonderful post – yes we can all help each other in numerous ways. We all have value to offer. There is a different site that offers some useful information – Organic Prepper. Selco Begovic is a contributor here; I’ve read his book “The Dark Secrets of SHTF Survival”. Hopefully none of us experience the extremes he did in Serbia; knowing…

Excellent point. As for me, health permitting:
– Move to someplace where: (a) there are more like-minded people; (b) in-person networking is more feasible; and (c) influencing local government is more realistic.
– At some point, write and publish books.
– Possibly teach/tutor remotely in the areas of English, French, grammar, or writing;…[Read more] -

If the ballot counting is corrupt, what difference does it make?Answer: About as much difference as a vote for the chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.

Good info on the kakistocracy that dreams of governing the world… I think a strong nation-state, with a government accountable to the governed, is the only semi-reliable protection against these nutty social engineers and mad scientists. I guess enough of the governed also need to be knowledgeable for us to resist said nutjobs. -

Well, I do agree that a pure democracy equals the tyranny of the majority/mob. My own view on human nature being flawed derives from my observations rather than any religious or philosophical stance. Rule by the meritorious isn’t a bad idea in theory. The question is: Who determines what constitutes merit, and by what criteria? As to…[Read more] -

In what respects does the U.S. system not correspond to the Ciceronian republic? (I’m asking out of ignorance–I don’t know enough about Cicero.) Is it the fact that the “monarch” (president) is removeable, or that the presidency isn’t sufficiently monarchical?I’ve not studied the philosophy of government, but in the debates I have heard,…[Read more]

Sorry for the repost. I tried a brief edit and it got wiped. Anyhow. The President is certainly not a Monarch, though there are some similarities, but the Founders tried their best to limit them, though in further contrast, they are certainly not the same thing in purely the philosophical sense. In short, regarding a few of their…

Cicero was a pragmatist in the modern sense. Any approach to Plato, to be fully appreciated, needs to include the numerical harmonic aspect which is only vaguely echoed in the “balance of powers” idea.

The “harmonic balance of powers”… this, I do declare (in my strongest southern accent), is the key issue at hand, one that We will likely forever grapple with…

Of course the aim of impeachment is to make sure Trump can’t run again. If they can find a legal means to ensure that, then they won’t have to resort to any other means.-

Wise words, Dana. Maybe the best approach is to shift attention from the big issues we individually can’t control to what we can directly influence in our own lives. -

In the long run, I always have hope. I want to say all good things are possible in the short to medium term too, but I don’t believe it at the moment. Might it be helpful to affirm it, whether or not I believe it? Is belief that your intention is possible a prerequisite for it to have a positive effect on the field? (I honestly have no idea,…[Read more]-

Best to start producing goodwill and prosperity in our own sphere of influence, large or small may it be. This has a harmonic resonance effect.

Good advice… Yes, I listen to the Higherside Chats, and I’ve listened to Lynne McTaggart’s first-hour interview a couple of times. Her material is brand-new to me, but very interesting. -

Nor would I suggest or be involved in anything potentially negative or dangerous. As I say, I’m a complete novice at anything to do with group intention, which is why I wouldn’t get involved without informed, trusted guidance… -

Kudos for taking the initiative. I don’t know how/what other Gizars or Dr. Farrell might feel about such a project or about members discussing it in this forum. I’ll wait for additional feedback. -
