Just after posting the above, I read this: “Wolfram Henn, a member of Germany’s Ethics [sic!] Council, told Bild newspaper that vaccine refusniks should not be able to access ventilators and other emergency measures.” https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/german-geneticist-says-people-who-refuse-covid-vaccine-should-be-denied-medical-treatment-

In addition to the type of reasons mentioned in the article, I’ve often thought sociopathic personality types might be predisposed to succeeding in certain fields, such as science and medicine, where social skills aren’t as necessary as dispassionate, analytical thinking. (I’m not trying to say most scientists and doctors are sociopaths!) I…[Read more]-
There’s something in that. I do wonder if the “Culture” of science itself ,with it’s reductionist mindset, cannot recognise what it doesn’t believe exists and is therefore more prone to it..

I’ll put it in real simple language. After my 15 years in Psych/Medical I found that highly educated people can still be ,under it all, screaming whack jobs. It’s not as rare as one might think it is.
-
One man’s screaming whack job is another man’s enlightened inspiration?!
-
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and sometimes a whack job is just a whack job. IMHO.

R. L. S. – Bingo. I’ve seen the same thing over an even longer period. In my experience, psych/medical has an unusually high concentration of educated whack jobs.

Maybe it’s because I don’t use social media, but I’ve found value in hearing the “alternative” but intelligent take that Gizars tend to have on current events, geopolitics, and the potential covert agendas involved. Those are things Dr. Farrell seems to have some interest in, even if there isn’t always a particular book that obviously and…[Read more] -

Indeed, it would be interesting to hear Dr. Farrell’s take on what part the Nazi International (or today’s equivalent) may have played in some of the major events of 2020. -

The timing of this little drip of info is curious. Why run stories about it over the holidays? -
FiatLux posted a new activity comment 5 years, 4 months ago
I feel bad for the UK… When I lived there, I got the feeling that Christmas was the one traditional holiday left in the year that still had true, deep cultural significance to the British. It’s not just another “bank holiday” (as several other legal holidays there are called).I think this is a very wicked form of social engineering, and…[Read more]

I’m not sure if this is a good example of Affektenlehre (I’ve only started going through the very rich, voluminous content available to paid subscribers), but I thought this was a particularly nice rendition of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” by one of the world’s best orchestras and conductors:

Well said. I share your gratitude for this site and the people involved in it, just as I am grateful for all the other good people and good things in this life. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! -

Another “Pre-Crime” AI System Claims It Can Predict Who Will Share Disinformation Before It’s Published

In order not to become a false positive AI target, one must adopt several ‘normie’ interests and avoid trigger words. I follow and comment on sports and sweet aphorisms, which I like but appear safely mundane. this way edgy comments are diluted for AI purposes. Have a great day!

I also follow a broad spectrum of feeds to avoid niche characterization. This results in seeing opposing views, which forces me to examine the reasoning and temper the effect of the echo chamber. It is interesting how people on youtube avoid trigger words and use a substitute words.

Changes are in the process of being made to the website. It’s probably going to be behaving oddly till all the changes are made and the kinks worked out. I remember Dr. Farrell (or maybe it was the webmaster) mentioning something about it not long ago. -

Interesting the interpretation that Vedic astrology gives to the conjunction (assuming that’s what this interpretation is from). Different from Western astrology in this case. -

I was more thinking of what might go wrong for California. Like huge (and hugely profitable) droughts and floods. Due to “climate change,”
of course. -

Pretty near the bull’s-eye, IMO. Only thing I don’t buy is that they lowered interest rates “to try to stimulate the economy and failed.” I believe they lowered interest rates to bloat Wall St. and bankrupt everybody else, and they succeeded. -

Chicago Mercantile Exchange has now created a futures market in California water. Watch out for water derivatives ahead… What could go wrong? (And do you create a speculative market for something you can’t manipulate?)

New California has six dams on the drawing board.

By any chance, would any of those dams be in areas previously affected by “wild” fires?

Info not available to determine that at this time.
