I’m thinking now, more a he than a she. “Bruno” seems an appropriate name.

Dunno about names. Maybe she is a he. Dunno yet. First words will probably be the 549 and some Buxtehude (a little spitfire of a fugue of his I used to play).

Ok a quick update folks. The organ as you know has arrived, and the physical installation is complete today, though the house is an utter disaster. I’ll post pics in a moment on a tidbit (they’re a little blurry I’m afraid as I don’t use my camera that much). But again, a MAJOR thank you to all you donors who made it happen. Thank you so MUCH!…[Read more]

Fingers crossed! Does she have a name yet? I expect her first ‘words’ will be a Bach fugue . . .

When I attribute personhood to a piece of machinery, like a car etc, I don’t usually think of a specific sex. I more think of it as just being a “dear friend.” Or in some cases an “old friend.” ๐

There IS a connection, as French studies of both assassinations, the attempt on DeGaulle, and the murder of JFK, have links to the OAS, and from the OAS to the Nazis.
-
I seem to have read somewhere, maybe in your book on JFK, or Heinrich Kruger’s book on the heroin trade, that some of the personnel involved in planning and boots on the ground were common to both. I didn’t think the OAS were quite the spent force implied in Forsyth’s novel.
-
Totally unrelated Joseph… Is there a possibility that the Nazi Internationals had a hand in the French Connection Heroin smuggling that started up in France, without googling yet, I think that Sicilians were involved and it started just after WW2 (I think… sorry if mistaken.. Havent coffe’d up yet..)
-
French Connection equals Corsican mafia equals OAS equals Nazis. Just started on my first coffee for the day.

A long day (and night) of housecleaning is over… am trying to unwind with one of my fave organ pieces (on pedal harpsichord), from an old album by Anthony Newman that my organ teacher had: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0I6TMWNjpZw

Folks, again, my deepest apologies. My schedule is hostage the next few days and accordingly there will be no News and Views again this week, nor any vidchat tomorrow. Thank you all for your patience, I do appreciate it!
-
That sounds promising Joseph! May all go well! The wait will be worth it.
Gizars can still hang out in the chat room on Friday, it’s always available here: https://tlk.io/gizadeathstar

Folks there may be yet again a last minute schedule change… and that may mean there is no news and views (again) tomorrow. I am very sorry for this, but it cannot be avoided. I have NOT scheduled a vidchat this Friday as I may just have to turn around and cancel again… I will try to keep everyone posted.

Joseph P. Farrell posted an update 7 years, 6 months ago
For those inquiring, my deepest apologies… I am as yet STILL unable to schedule a vidchat because of the constantly shuffling schedule from the organ people. IF I can do one this Friday I will, but it may end up being a last minute thing. Please bear with me and be patient.

Folks, there are once again no vidchats this Friday and maybe no blogs or vidchat next Friday. It is, of course, the organ people again, and I am too angry and trying to jiggle things around once again, plus just plain exhausted from dealing with it, to recount it all here. Put country simple, I need a break from ALL of it. But unfortunately I…[Read more]

What an unfortunate nightmare this has turned out to be! Please take time for yourself, your health, and your peace of mind. You more than deserve a break so unburden yourself from a schedule and take time to rest. We’ll amuse ourselves in the meantime . . . . and congratulations to Chuck and his fiancรฉe.

A secretary wouldn’t be able to solve the problems I’ve had this week and possibly next. Nor could I afford one.

Hope everything is well with you and the “schedule slamming” eases soon.

Yeah you might even get that busy you may need a secretary.
