Douglas is one of my favorite authors and commentators. The man has brass, to say the least!

Well said, Fiat. I was a long haul copilot a time or two in my day, and it was truly a great experience. Long haulers are under appreciated, no doubt. At this point, I’m just so over protests of any sort. Though, it’s a valued privilege to have, certainly. But at what point does one’s protest become justifiable when it inflicts damage upon someo…[Read more]

Well, if this is legit, I understand the reaction, but honestly, this is the last thing we need. I mean really, what are they going to do, sit out there for the next six weeks, or longer? It will change nothing, IMHO. We really need to pull it together. Elections have been stolen since the beginning, and will continue to be stolen. Can we ever…[Read more]

    • I’ve been on strike since the last week in March. I’m only one man out of roughly 3.5 million who can drive 80-90K lbs down the road, but I ain’t going back until this country squares it’s head out of its bung hole. It’s not possible in a country this large to have strikes like they do in France or elsewhere. But if it did happen for say two…[Read more]

      • I get it, Ken. We have two CDL drivers here: one who used to haul locally and one who hauls now (not your load weight, but live loads) so I hear you loud and clear. Here is the dilemma, though. We absolutely need to hear from the needs of the industry that feeds us but at a time when the NWO asshats want to starve us, this is possibly not the…[Read more]

        • There are about a hundred different ways, if not more, to dig into this one. So I’ll boil it down as best as possible. It is not just one industry. What ails one, ails all. We have no law in this country anymore nor anyone to enforce it. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land, meant to govern over the representatives of the people.…[Read more]

    • After 3 weeks of hanging chads, I don’t think Republicans thought there was a “steal”. I used to live in Fort Lauderdale just as the Mafia decided it was no longer off limits to “settle the odds” (mowed down the guy and his wife just outside his home in Plantation as they were arriving home) so the idea that there could be graft in Florida? Give…[Read more]

    • I get where you’re coming from, ML, and I get where the truckers are coming from too… This is what happens when the political class (both parties, IMO) stops listening to half the population. I haven’t lived in the heartland for a long time, but the way I see it, there’s a whole lot of Americans who at the very least want to have their voices,…[Read more]

Quotation of the day: “Live not by lies!” – Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

    • Solzhenitsyn in his last brick sized book before his death
concluded: Sovjet was run by communists and criminals,
when sovjet collapsed we got rid of the communists! lol

What is this, elementary school? What a joke. Last time I checked Dr. Farrell is a scholar, not a hall monitor.

    • No, but for making rude, snide remarks it would be so kind of you to voluntarily take a hike. Just saying’….

    • Yes, what is this kindergarten. Absolutely pathetic. I think the forum needs a clear out.

    • lol I’d tend to agree with your sentiment, but this person “Voxi Pop” did exactly that – talk like in kindergarden with some teacher. My online conversation style is to mirror their approach so as to speak their same language (they will get it more if I take a similar approach). I don’t think Dr Farrell even reads my posts, as he doesn’t follow…[Read more]

Could “They” have pulled this SCAM off if Dr. Kary Mullis was still alive?

  • ML light posted an update 5 years, 5 months ago

My friend’s daughter thought she had c19. She got tested, and it came back negative. Then, they got the ER bill. It wasn’t the price, necessarily, that bothered them. It was the patient descriptor within the bill that alarmed them: covid patient. Her mom called and asked, “What the heck?!!” First, she says, “She isn’t a covid patient, nor was she…[Read more]

    • I work in a elderly home and my friend is a head nurse in a hospitel. The biggest problem we have that constantly testing lead to people staying at home as a case and understaffing is the biggest problem. The cofib beds are not the problem but the staf that is supposed to surround them is!

    • Hospitals (in the U.S. anyway) are notorious for doing as many procedures, and billing for as many things, as they possibly can. ESPECIALLY now. The nonsensical lockdowns and all the cancelled tests and surgeries were a big cash hit to hospitals’ bottom line. So they’re out to scrounge cash wherever they can get it. And I’m sure there are…[Read more]

Quotation of the day: “Disagreement is not oppression. Argument is not assault. Words— even provocative or repugnant ones— are not violence. The answer to speech we do not like is more speech.” – N. Christakis (former Master of the residential college at Yale)

    • “Master” is now a forbidden word so it’s being cancelled.
Computer geeks created the term master/slave hard drives decades ago, but it’s now politically incorrect.
The madness is so widespread that realtors are cancelling the term “master bedroom”!

      • It’s a war on words–and thoughts. Heard of the Univ. of Calif. list of possible “microaggressions”? Examples dating all the way back to 2014:
        – “Where are you from?” or “Where were you born?”
        – “You speak English very well.”

In short, I think you’re on to something— identifying another part of the cosmic war feedback loop. The “stats” are multifaceted from my perspective. Strictly in political terms, they’re used to emotionally defeat those who support their opponent, rendering such now hopelessly hopeless. But more to your twiggy speculation, these stats seem ever…[Read more]

    *Sorry, technical issue repost*
Understanding the “assumption of powers”, or what so many refer to as “police powers”, and the lack of regulation to these “assumed powers” is ever so important for my little noggin to comprehend. I certainly need to reread the Federalist Papers again, as it’s depth is profound, but one main thing that I take away f…[Read more]

An interesting conversation that “steel-mans” the need and importance of one of our most cherished Artists. Mrs. Tureck also does her best to “steel-man” the importance of our ever so black-eyed composers of “atonality”. Also, I just told myself “no more buying books this month“ (last month was out of control). But now, with this new treasure trove of knowledge at my fingertips, I’m thinking I better stifle that reasonably unreasonable rational and hop to it before my budget-based Mind gets the best of me. More books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
