I guess I look at this situation as an opportunity. What was before wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. Might as well think outside the box and visualize an improved something. -

Yes. I’ve actually done quite a bit of research on this virus and EMF connection. I sent a synopsis in as a Vidchat Q that I think will be included in the next one.-
Looking forward to the question and answer.

Actually I don’t think anyone owns the land (I think Henry George had it right in many respects); I do think we all have a right to a sanctuary we can refer to as home and that requires the private and protected use of some land. In past years I’ve crunched some numbers on the US territory and there is sufficient land for everyone in the…[Read more] -

There is much judging that has and is going on in all areas of life – such a shame.
Our educational system (and pretty much every other existing system) needs a complete overhaul in my view. (my Mother is a retired teacher who cared for her students as if they were her own children) -

The Nation is in the process of ripping itself to pieces. As that process unfolds we will find ourselves making alliances and building something different. What was is not coming back regardless of who the individuals are that tenuously hold political seats. Certain individuals in those seats may help steady the pace of change which in some…[Read more]-
I partly agree. Obviously, the future is always different from the past in some way. But I get the distinct feeling it’s the TPTB who are trying to convince the rest of us that “things will never be the same again.” To which I respond: They can be if we the people want them to be. Are the people going to succeed at restoring whatever it may…

Recently, I viewed “A Surprising Little Labyrinth”, a 2016 Member Webinar. It concerned the Louisiana Purchase with a couple of the characters in ‘play’ being Andrew Jackson and Nicholas Biddle (these two are also key players in a book which many here may have read “The Creature from Jeckyll Island” that tells a historical tale of the Federal…[Read more]

Is this sort of an alchemical thing where a piece of paper substitutes, or over-rides, Reality? It is selling something not actually owned, i.e. not by the true owner’s of the land. What ‘band’ of First Americans actually owned the land? There were so many tribes. Possession of the land was always in-flux with no good method to determine…

‘First Peoples’ should be substituted for ‘First Americans’. My oversight.

When in recorded history, since the beginning of agriculture at least, was allocation of resources ever done on the up and up? (Unless we consider taking resources by war to be on the up and up.) Perhaps more pertinent: When in history has an effort to fairly redistribute land or resources ever ended well?
I don’t think our land ownership…

FiatLux, as you so correctly wrote, “When in history has an effort to fairly redistribute land or resources ever ended well?” Answer: Never!!!
So think about it, the Time to stop enforcing our Rights, as written in our Bill of Rights has not yet ended! Make certain it does not now End. There are peaceful ways to do so, and you have provided…-
There is something we should consider – land ownership has been redistributed throughout history – typically flowing to those in ‘power’ and is happening in our present time to an extreme degree. It is simply being transferred to the ‘1%’ in spades. If memory serves, an example would be Ted Turner’s share growing from appx. 100,000 acres in…

“Since Canada uses primarily English-derived common law, the holders of the land actually have land tenure (permission to hold land from the Crown) rather than absolute ownership.”

Pre-crime labeling begins with children – this is both an affront to decency and an attack on the vulnerable and innocent. Every event like this compounds the outrage. I can hear the tines of pitchforks being sharpened.

Just as bad, or worse, teachers have a way of labeling students BEFORE they get in class by listening to the opinions of previous “educators”, thereby prejudging them and perpetuating the behavior and performance. Thus, the public school teachers help to create criminal branding. (Speaking as a former middle school teacher).

Reminds me of a rural school district where I once worked. During new teacher orientation, we were loaded in a bus and driven around the district to view the homes of some students and were told stories about their families and about their personal negative interactions at school. It was appalling.

A very Happy New Year to All!
An article reporting on quantum teleportation with 90% success rate over a 27 mile distance. A few phrases/terms caught my attention – “…as the qubits are sent to their eventual destination through optical fibres (or satellites).” – emphasize ‘or satellites’, “…tricky to beam entangled photons over long distances…[Read more]

If you haven’t yet had the opportunity, you may enjoy reading Soul of an Octopus by Sy Montgomery.
I resided in WA for many years and unfortunately did not get to go diving at a place called Octopus Hole near Hoodsport. Should I find myself there again, it will be first on my list of ‘to do’s’ 🙂-
Funny you should mention that book. I love octopuses (as everyone knows, along with steam locomotives, roller coasters, and really big artillery…lol). It’s an enjoyable easy to read book that manages also to raise some interesting questions.
