That’s close to where I walk in shopshire. Some ancient stones around there.
-
Ah okay, you’re on the borders of Shropshire. Yes very beautiful around there. Although when I told a friend about those stones who asked about the pic, he was bit horrified, as apparently that area is where some awful human mutilations have occurred!
-
I did not know that. Terrible. My wife is from there and we visit often. We live in Canada for the last 8 years. I miss the border area and mid to northern Wales. Stunning place. Great people. Old cozy pubs.

Apologies for the mistake. I meant virgin birth. As you discussed in the vidchat. Thanks Doc.

Hi Richardm, thanks for the add. I know you sent me a message with the request but I can’t find it! Doh! No, the stones are on top of a mountain just past Brecon beacons in Wales. We saw some stones on the map and then used the coordinates to find them and it took us up a mountain!!

I am going to have to re visit the last 2 vidchats especially when Doc outlines the patristic thinking behind the immaculate conception. By golly that was a tough one to digest….
-
Correction: there is NO patristic thinking on the IMmaculate Conception: this term does NOT designate the church teaching concerning Christ’s Virgin Birth, but rather, this term (Immacuate Conception) designates a peculiar teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, and the Roman Catholic Church ALONE, concerning MARY’s birth. If you have a question,…[Read more]

My cousin lives in Toronto. I hear you’re having a mild autumn/winter. We just had a Xmas card from her. So, Richard, have you ever seen anything unusual in the sky? My count is two definite unknowns, two more maybes. One of the unknowns was an orb! Largish orangey-pinkish-reddish thing that bobbed about like thistledown in a gentle breeze. Then…[Read more]
Very mild yes indeed. Odd.
No sky phenomena of that nature so far. I did have a major space experience in India sitting on the beach one night where we watched the milky way in all its glory for 10 hours. We tracked Orions belt accross the sky. I have to agree with G Hancock, there is a very familiar pull from Siluris…
