Well, Dr. Strange is certainly interesting. An ubermensch with leaning towards Eastern mysticism and black magic just about gives away the game. He gets his spells from celestial deities, and IIRC he forms a covenant with them – very telling. I did see Mr Cabbagepatch playing Van Gogh in a BBC production a few years ago and he was pretty good in that. I don’t go to the movies all that much. I prefer dvd’s at home so I can smoke, scratch my bum and stretch my legs. But I’m quite happy to…[Read more]
I prefer DVDs too. I like to smoke my pipe while I watch, can’t do that in the theaters. I actually wrote a big essay about Nietzsche, ubermensch, superhero movies and mass shooters. Check it out!
