Hi, Tim.
On chance you missed it, Dana shared this three days ago:

An essay on Sekret Machines follows the lead essay on Samuel Weiser’s Bookstore.
The Sekret Machines essay may be of interest to anyone who studied Julian Jaynes’ “The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind”.

You mean some creature came along and took a wild undompted species and tinkered with them genetically until they got a docile, ‘smarter’ smaller version? No.. its not possible. That never happens.. (Im being sarcastic)

Hi Tim,
Doing fine here, though digging out of a freak March snowstorm. I have my car up on jackstands trying to pull the motor when the weather breaks – its a smallblock Ford stroker (347 cid) with what I believe to be a bad rod bearing. The car is actually a 1966 Shelby Mustang (GT-350) which gave it a slightly different grill treatment than…[Read more] -

So, Buzz Aldrin was recently evacuated from Antarctica. FULL STOP What?
Yes, in a year where several major political actors and statesmen have traveled to Antarctica, for some reason, so has Buzz.
Well, he is 86 years old….did he scare the Nazis, or did they scare…[Read more] -

Although I usually try not to listen to Dr. Steven Greer as I consider him to be somewhat of an arrogant creature, this lengthy speech given at a recent conference and presented, originally, by Carol Rosin is pretty eye opening. I am sure that a question could be created for tomorrow’s vidchat for Dr. Farrell based upon this dialogue.…[Read more]

I suspected him of using double entendre when he made the comment about McCain “I like people who weren’t captured.” I thought he was speaking more about McCain being establishment than being a POW.

I prefer DVDs too. I like to smoke my pipe while I watch, can’t do that in the theaters. I actually wrote a big essay about Nietzsche, ubermensch, superhero movies and mass shooters. Check it out!

Well, Dr. Strange is certainly interesting. An ubermensch with leaning towards Eastern mysticism and black magic just about gives away the game. He gets his spells from celestial deities, and IIRC he forms a covenant with them – very telling. Of course, some of Dr. Strange’s powers are locked in material things – his amulet and cloak and so on,…[Read more]

Spells from celestial deities eh? Sounds like Dee and Kelly. I wonder if there’s a Mrs Dr Strange.
I did see Mr Cabbagepatch playing Van Gogh in a BBC production a few years ago and he was pretty good in that. I don’t go to the movies all that much. I prefer dvd’s at home so I can smoke, scratch my bum and stretch my legs. But I’m quite happy to…[Read more]-
