First world problems… Money clogging up the sewerage outlet.. Whilst entire countries are demolished by natural disasters.. You know what.. If it’s in Switzerland, I’ll say it.. This isnt general richman looniness. This is ritualistic.

Well, perhaps I wouldn’t phrase things quite this emotively, but I can see some sort of “doom” in our future if we continue along the Silicon Valley prescribed path

Another excellent choice is startpage.com . . . anonymous/proxy searches, same results, can set up as primary search engine

Thanks, but not sure how I’d use it . . . a bit above my tech skill level ;D

Thanks. I see the second is no longer being supported but should be fine for older versions of Firefox.

This guy has about the most psychotic-looking eyes I’ve ever seen in a free (non-locked-up) human being. He’s like Hitler, but without the full emotional range and expressivity. Meet your new autism-spectrum fuhrer, ladies and gentlemen. And I bet he can’t even give a rousing speech or throw a decent parade…

Secure alternatives to gmail that I use: https://unseen.is/ and https://tutanota.com/
also startpage.com is an excellent private search engine (accesses google as proxy), can be set as default in your browser -

If data is an infinite or unlimited resource, how can one expect to manage it using a closed system paradigm?
-
You can’t manage it using a closed system; you need a multidimensional cache. This might mean that sufficiently vast amounts of data in the cache could become self-organizing (autonomous) and thereafter possibly sentient. I think the Gnostics understood this when they wrote about the Aeons. To build such a multidimensional cache might require…[Read more]
