Right. Four syllables is always best for effective double-speak- or in these examples, double-double. -

I found his character development to be a little weak, but then again his main thrust was an overarching exploration of just about everything else.A gem of a fellow, gone much too soon. He was aware of his impending demise and wrote of it in advance with measured, calm words.

Non taken. I too appreciate humor. Good catch. Ironically due to the day the word seems appropriate. I guess it refers to where the crucified body of Christ was displayed. The scholars have been bickering over it since it supposedly happened.

Indeed! Witness the “truth police” rolled out on various popular social media websites, which I have shunned since day one. How dare anyone to presume to be the arbiters of truth? The don’t do as I but as I say folks. I vote with my feet, wallet, and – most of all – with my attention. I pay attention to most on this web site and thank the c…[Read more] -

Excellent. Thank you for the link. Claire Washington says what she means and means what she says. I hope she prevails. Meanwhile Jon Rappaport soldiers on. May he long endure. -

Right. Back in the olden days when I first noticed MS phoning home automatically – was it Win95? – I said goodbye to Microsoft. -

Yes. It happened to me in early January from one user who took offense at my comment re: one of his posts. I deleted them all with a “consider the source” attitude. Cash if you can get it. Just this morning I tried to visit my (think stage coach) bank on Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City for a roll of quarters only to they are closed “until further notice.” with a note to call a certain number to access a safe deposit box. BTW, downtown was like a ghost town. With the exception of a nearly emp…[Read more] -

Yes. And a month later this relatively young man without a prior heart condition suddenly died from a “heart attack.” Hmmmm. -

I read somewhere earlier this year that Kissinger reportedly said something to the effect that if people don’t take the vaccine, we will burn them out (thinking of the California recurring fire seasons).
To which some replied, “at least I can run from a fire.” Sorry I cannot provide more specifics, but I have always wondered why this unele…[Read more] -
