I know there is a tendency out there to interpret every such news item as “confirmation” of some apocalyptic scenario or other, but I respectfully suggest that it is more likely good old-fashioned bureaucratic infighting with contracting or other financial aspects lurking in the background.

I’m familiar with the Rubin Report but don’t keep up with it. Yeah, there is that feeling permeating academia. I’d like to get into to it and work to change it but those are lofty goals.

Could this have anything to do with magnetic pole shifts? I know that they’re supposed to happen every 20k years or so and I wonder if that could have played a role in this…

Yep, these guys used to appear on the Rubin Report. Haven’t viewed the Rubin Report for quite awhile since The Evergreen event. That plus Dr Peterson’s experience in Canada shed light on the “virus” that was released on young budding intellectuals in academia. Quite tragic… like Alzheimer’s on an older one.

Yes, it’s on the news outlets: Schaefer was (is?) the man in charge of the Hesse Land finances. The capital of Hesse is Frankfurt, location of the Bundesbank and the European Central Bank. I don’t think anybody in Germany, to start with, is buying this as an unfortunate coincidence.
