i am starting to think that this latest move from NYSE has very little to do with imposed tax on stock transfers, and more with why the NASDAQ and other markets are looking to move to a much higher elevation in Texas, away from the coastline . .-
Maybe the CME will consider relocating to South Dakota next.

For some reason, the whole gaggle of the markets, derivatives and all have their eye on Texas. But since you mention it, why South Dakota?-

This is such an odd and interesting development… all these stock exchanges and other companies talking about moving to Texas. Wish I knew what it was all about! Big NYC financial firms have been opening offices in or moving to South Florida–not ideal if you’re worried about hurricanes or floods, but it’s just offices, not stock-exchange…

Considering how much missiles changed air to air combat I can’t determine if laser cannons should be thought of instantaneous missiles or something else.
