Looks like a plan for chaos and death masquerading as a catastrophe, doesn’t it? It’s happened many times before, eg, Libya. Not only have they left the arms and ammunition, they have left the targets: databases of Afghans who “collaborated” with the…[Read more] -

Not sure about that. Japanese employers are arranging for their employees to be jabbed at work. Although Japan did not really start jabbing until April, more than half the population has now been jabbed at least once. In Tokyo, more than 40% have been jabbed twice so far.
As with everything else in Japan, the pressure to conform is intense,…[Read more] -

If/when there is an announcement that the Saudis agree to accept roubles – or any other currency – for their oil, then we will know that The Sword of Damocles hanging over the dollar has struck. There were constant rumors about this 4-5 years ago. Perhaps they will now re-surface? -

Maybe. Maybe not. While the Greeks are building a wall along their border with Turkey, the Turks are reported to be building a wall along their border with Iran “to block any refugee influx.” I suppose it could also be to make any influx easier to control and…[Read more] -

Agreed – and quick work. It was only on 24th that CIA Director Burns had his meeting with the Taliban. -

Genesis 11, vs 6-7: And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.

Similar problems are also found in Hong Kong, which likes to brand itself as “Asia’s World City” lol. Only a few weeks ago, a major developer had to demolish two partially-built condo blocks when it was discovered that sub-standard concrete had been used. There have been several such scandals in recent years. Whether they are the result of…[Read more] -

Yes, you’re right. My only quibble would be that I don’t see them as Western oligarchs. I see them as planetary managers making decisions to allocate global resources in ways they deem most profitable/efficient for themselves and their masters. -

I’m not saying that the CCP has not bribed The Taliban with gold. Perhaps they have – I don’t know.
In the PRC, the CCP has not only held on to power but prospered on its promise to the people of future prosperity. It has delivered on this promise to hundreds of millions of Chinese peasants, who now live in relative comfort and enjoy phy…[Read more]-
You make a good point about the PRC and the point of view of a former Chinese peasant. (That’s roughly analogous to some Russians’ view of Stalin who, murderous psychopath that he was — meet the new tsar — managed to industrialize Russia overnight and was seen as leading Russia to victory in WWII.) In the PRC’s case, I think it’s important…

As usual, it’s probably a multi-layered strategy. If I were a betting man, I’d wager that one of the main objectives is to allow The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to upgrade Afghanistan and Iran from “Observer” status to Full Member of the de-dollarizing bloc.
Construction of impressive highways and other infrastructure linking the…[Read more] -

Christ has been misunderstood in many ways, yes. Wilson and Blackett have just published a new book, “Where is Jesus Buried,” which – among other things – provides a fascinating Judean political context for his life and times:

After 10% Joe did them the favor of handing Afghanistan over to The Shanghai Cooperation Organization fold, perhaps the CCP will ensure safe passage? And perhaps not. It seems to me that all the Chaos is an important part of the plan.-
I pray for the Afghani to find a wise path through their dark forest brimming with wolves without sacrificing their company.
It’s funny but I am not a particularly religious person but I find that some expressions are only best made using those terms of art.-
