I enjoy the vids you post with the scores included, gives the music another dimension, a shape I suppose.-
To me the scores allow you to watch these genius minds as they create. I always listen to music both without, and then with, and the without the scores… constantly back and forth

The opening Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben is nothing short of exhilarating.

All of the cantatas are little miniature oratorios, little miniature masterpieces. Decades ago, Nicholas Harnoncourt recorded all of them on vinyl, and while that series isn’t my favorite, the one nice thing about it was that they included the complete scores in miniature of each cantata, which would now cost a fortune.

This is just a thought I occasionally chew on, how the masses have been entrained to perceive and think about everything as a dialectic, binary thinking. Concurrent with that, scientists are feverishly at work
