Upon reflection: The gist is there, but the logic is a bit askew. Substitute “the voice of reason” with “said a voice,” for one thing. Extemporaneous humorous poetic endeavors are tricky for me. The more reflective criticism, the stickier the wicket. Point: Wisdom too wise to vocalize.

I love that stuff. More than once, driving into the Uintas, I was forced to wade my car through a herd of cattle with ranchers on horseback ! I always smile and tip my cap to them.
