I don’t know anything about group-based intention. I do remember hearing somewhere that it can be counterproductive if done the wrong way. If Gizars with knowledge/experience with it want to provide guidance and participate in such a project, I will.-
I could lead it. its just a matter of focused intent, agreed upon.

Kudos for taking the initiative. I don’t know how/what other Gizars or Dr. Farrell might feel about such a project or about members discussing it in this forum. I’ll wait for additional feedback.

i whoa!- no Golem stuff lol didn’t realize that’s what it was talking about. Angelic stuff would be lovely and aspirational on the other hand. I have no desire to create self fulfilling monsters, but interestingly, isn’t that what fiction authors do, on a small scale?

Nor would I suggest or be involved in anything potentially negative or dangerous. As I say, I’m a complete novice at anything to do with group intention, which is why I wouldn’t get involved without informed, trusted guidance…

It was interesting (and encouraging) to read about that lady whose group tried to generate an egregore to protect Britain during WWII. Her group “was not able to meet in person because of wartime travel restrictions,” yet their group intention presumably still worked.-

Do you listen to the Higherside Chats? Check out the episode with Lynne McTaggart. It’s mainly in reference to intention and health, but there’s seemingly no reason why it couldn’t be used for grander objectives.

In these matters, you have to know how to walk before you can run, for example by fostering a harmonious local environment. This in itself has a positive resonant effect.

with respect to the risks, for me, calling in other beings is at this point beyond my intentions or knowledge. I like to think about generating light energy via chakra meditation and purging any thought energy not focused on enhancing a healthy life for everyone. I am interested in thoughts on these issues and efforts.

I don’t know, FiatLux. I hear you, but it just seems (and feels) to me to be way too simple. I can’t really find the words for it because I’m not even sure what it is, but it does feel like there’s something more that we’re not seeing here.

I have the same problem with local networks, for the time being. I’ve thought a lot about how people not living in the same place can best create and maintain networks. I don’t have the answers, but I know it’s an important question. -

Thanks for the solution oriented thinking. One caveat – I think states and counties in most places are not tight enough communities for this to work. It would seem to me that at best, small towns are more fertile ground for this concept or, small independent groups of people who live near each other.

State issued currency… or better yet, debt free (state) issued currency… I think I’ve heard a distinguished ole’ curmudgeon talk about that a time or two…

I like this concept. I think it’s very doable, especially if one practices locally sourcing their food and other resources. I live in a small town, so perhaps my mileage will vary. If there’s a democracy or a democratic republic lurking somewhere in the District of Columbia, I haven’t seen it. Now, an oligarchy, yep–got it in spades.You can’t have a “res publica” without a few Ciceros, and I haven’t seen many of them roaming around either.

Well, I’ll stand by my democracy comment: we’re living in it. Though, voting machines seem to throw a wrench in the whole inevitably doomed machine. A “democratic republic” seems more of an oxymoron to me, but anyhow. And yes, we are certainly lacking a few good Ciceros these days, sadly.
