Just like always: go to the members’ area, and look under vidchats for Fireside Chat. It’s there. Scroll down, and use the comments section to post theme suggestions, questions, comments.

Ok folks, our posting of the first fireside chat has just gone up in the members’ area. I’m posting this EARLY, even though the chat will not be until January 29th. Remember, these new chats are designed to be (1) shorter, and (2) to the point, and (3) posted early to allow chatters to post their comments and questions in the comments area…[Read more]

Sorry Dr Farrell, I’m a bit slow perhaps; I am trying to find the comments section you refer to for posting questions re the Fireside chats…on which particular page is this comments section? I can’t find one on the vid chat/webinar/All Member contents and other pages, so where exactly do I look? 🙂

Might it be useful to pre-define a theme or set of themes for some of the chats? (I’m new to vidchats, so I apologize if this has already been discussed.)

Funny you should mention that book. I love octopuses (as everyone knows, along with steam locomotives, roller coasters, and really big artillery…lol). It’s an enjoyable easy to read book that manages also to raise some interesting questions.-
I’ve always enjoyed a good roller coaster ride 🙂 and am fond of travel by train (have not had the pleasure of a steam powered one).
As an aside, I thought I’d mention that during your pseudo-absence, I have been working to bring myself up to speed via some of your archived member videos – fascinating topics. This has led to the ordering of…

THe big chained up hydrogen bomb model of stars never made any sense to me. And now that they’ve successfully synthesized metallic hydrogen, I think the game of stellar fusion physics is about to change… -

Read Financial Vipers of Venice… I lay out a general case that argues that they DID, or at least, that COLUMBUS knew those maps. Plus the curious fact that Piri Reis, on his map, indicates that Columbus had prior knowledge of the New World. -

Hang in there folks… changes are happening on the site as you can tell. I hope everyone likes the new look Daniel is giving things. I do! Anyway, as New Year’s Eve is Thursday, there probably won’t be a News and Views until after the New Year.

Thanks!

By the way, thanks for suggesting Cosmic War; I just ordered it today. 🙂 -
Even Dr. Farrell needs a holiday! He’s got to be well-rested and on his toes for 2021!
