Agree with that Dana. The guest interviewed seems to be drawing from the books. They do however use images from the movie as slides to discuss key events. I found it interesting and will likely dust off The Fellowship of the Ring.

    Now THAT, is interesting. Thanks!

Wow, great catch. I wonder if this is somehow related to our warships entering the South China Sea in the past week?

So much smoke and mirrors going on it’s hard to keep ones eye on the ball.

I thought that I’d share this with everyone. This was a really well done interview on the basis of The Lord of the Rings being the myth of our time and relating it to what’s going on all around us. A battle of the conscience, morals, ethos and culture. The microcosm.

    • Tom Horn whilst visiting the LUCIFER telescope at Mt. Graham asked the head Jesuit of the facility what story or myth would best reflect our world .. it’s rulers and the current situation we find ourselves in .. Without hesitation he replied “Lord of the Rings” … Great post .. Thanks for sharing ..

    • I periodically re-read my well-worn copies of the books, but have never been able to “connect” with the movies. Though admittedly the music is nice.

      • I read those in college and again just after grad school. I imagine I should go out and buy them all again as I have moved far too many times since then. I got pretty good at writing in elfin at one point in college as I had a friend who also wrote and read it and we would send letters to each other. It does seem appropriate to read the books again now.

Oh the irony of the truth.

Well, I thought I’d share a little something to add a bit of positive light (time will tell) during a dark time for most of us. I’ve decided to bite bullet and move forward with a dream/goal of mine that I’ve had for some time.

I’ve toyed with small scale aquaponics (enough to feed my family) for a while now and for the past few years have bee…[Read more]

    • The greenhouse is an excellent idea, I imagine you mean the type where naturally generated CO2 – the gas of life for plants – fills the space, increasing growth rates and virtually eliminating pests. You only let outside air in before entering to do work inside.

    • Happy Birthday!

    • Happy Birthday, Ronin. I haven’t tried aquaponics but I was a commercial greenhouse grower in the very far north NY (Adirondacks) where it gets to -40F. Despite years in botany, design build landscape architecture, the greenhouse was definitely a learning experience and it cost me LOTS of money. Be sure you have very good air flow within the…[Read more]

I rarely log into Facebook but lately, I’ve logged in once a week or so, to check the general vibe.

I live in Nebraska, which is considered to be relatively “normal” (if that’s even a thing anymore). I think people are all over the place as far as I can see. Some people are perfectly compliant with how they’re handling the virus, others are…[Read more]

Cool! I’ve heard of the 528Hz theory before, but never really dove into it. I’ll be sure to check this out.

Side note, I’m a bit of a HiFi stereo enthusiast with a love for DIY projects. I constructed my speakers, using plans generated by guru’s in the field. My primary speakers can be found here: https://www.clearwavespeakers.com/product/909459…[Read more]

That reminds me, I need to listen to “The Story of Gideon” on Solari. I’m a relatively new subscriber over there and am wading through the mountains of content. I had never heard of Thomas Meyer before her recent interview with him titled “Fear Not.” Good stuff. It’s kinda like GDS, if you step away for a few weeks on holiday, it can take months…[Read more]

Welcome. Be sure to checkout the vidchats, dialogues and especially the webinars, all located under the MEMBERS tab. A wealth of knowledge.

    • Thank you Ronin…..I’m still working out navigating this sight…but I suppose once I burn out on binge watching the archived videos I will have calmed down enough to make sense of it 😉

Lots of names missing of course. Aside from the usual suspects that always seem to remain in the shadows, I’d add the Cargill’s and MacMillan’s to the list of lists. After all, some 90% of food distributed throughout the world pass through their hands at one point or another.

Perhaps this explains the missing presidential flag at his press podium?

Things are speeding up. I don’t know what the end game is, but “they” seem to be in an awful hurry. Thoughts?

Ive been on several joint exercises. Granted I was a knuckle dragger, there isn’t any considerable amount of live munitions that come along for the ride. Granted, live fire exercises are conducted, it’s not anything worthy of some sort of Trojan Horse maneuver. Russia, likely has its eyes and ears within the NATO ranks and could see something lik…[Read more]

New and interesting report on COVID. I know, I know, it’s played out, but this is a short interview from a doc on the front lines. He suggests that this may indeed be some new virus and we need to take a hard look at our SOP’s to effectively deal with it. Mostly about ventilating and it being the wrong protocol.

    h…[Read more]

    • It has been suggested that ventilating, besides being unsuitable for many already frail patients, could force pathogens into the blood, thus exacerbating the situation. The problem is that most physicians are at least 20 years out of date: if their college professor had insisted on ventilator or some other “wonderful” treatment (any criticism…[Read more]

Articles like this make me think of two things:
    1) Mr. Global hasn’t quite taken over the entire sovereign world yet. He still has to snuff out pockets of resistance at the level of at least a well funded/equipped paramilitary.
    2) they are prepping for a resistance in the form of civil unrest. The Macgyver like ingenuity of our middle eastern foes…[Read more]

Agree, with countries like Japan (see JPF’ s comments in Q1 Wrap-Up) focusing on anti-satellite capability, my spidy senses are telling me a war’s a brewin. EW will be the shock and awe of the future, poke the eyes out of an enemy early and leave them def and blind on the battle field will be the force multiplier of a “near peer” conflict of the…[Read more]
